I have a billion thoughts running through your head. Often I get distracted by a thought that then get distracted by another thought and then another and another and so on.
If that is something you can relate to, then hello, you're not alone. But I have found a simple method to get those thoughts away and be focused again.
Write down whatever is in your head and set it aside.
Whatever it is - a chore you have to do, a thing you need to get from the grocery store, a random idea - write it down. The act of writing moves that thought from your short-term memory and releases the brain to do more important things.
When you are done with the important task, take the notes, organise them and take action.
